He wanted to rule above the creator, which would mean a new order and a regime change in heaven. He wanted to exalt himself above the most high (Jesus, who is the Son of man before man was created). The first rebellion was bowing down to worship an effigy of the most high God whom they never met because man was not here yet. However, the face of God, whose image we are made in, was known to them.
This anger that destroyed the cities before there was man included wiping out the dinosaurs. Only hatchlings survived the intense gravity change, and throughout the age of man, they were slain as dragons. This increased force on the earth stopping him from placing the top on the pyramid and completing his trap built to contain the son when and if HE ever showed up.
Was the chamber meant to keep someone in the tomb or from entering the tomb? We know it was empty when archeologists finally broke through the three large 12-inch granite blocks that slid in place to keep whatever was to go in there, in? Did he think he could trap the SON in a tomb of his design even his fallen angels went along with it? When God sent HIS meteor crashing into the earth, it closed the doors on him building his one world order he would have to wait for man to complete it.
