There is a great Theologian by the name of A.W. Tozer who did a book with the same title it is a must-read for anyone who inquires of the Holy.

HEAVEN (sky above us)  and EARTH shall pass away but the word of the LORD shall endure FOREVER!

Matthew 24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Luke 21:33            Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Psalm 117 only has two verses and the second verse is…

For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

As a mature believer in Christ, one should be able to discern what is important to God and what is not. One should be able to tell which is good and which is evil,  It is always good to praise the LORD and lift up HIS HOLY name.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is a pre-requisite to leaving planet earth. The only way one can obtain that is to know Christ and be repentant of one’s sins. Sorry for the harm we caused HIM and those around us.

You don’t dance with the devil and call yourself a Christian that is absurd, but many do and defend his lies as if they were truth.

Matthew 7:21-23  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  (22)  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  (23)  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I am going to open up a subject that has given me great concern and I am convinced it is not of God, not when it becomes more important than sharing the word of God or lifting Jesus as we see in the last days as he desires to be lifted.

The devil seeks to confuse us and keep those in darkness in darkness on many matters.

When people get up and leave the church when they see this kind of thing going on it may be because it is not ever been done in the scriptures.  It is not that they lack spirit as much as the spirit may be protecting them from a strong delusion.

No place within the new testament does one find the apostles of Christ or in the Pauline epistles the slaying of men in the Spirit.   Every time the Lord appeared to men in the old testament or an angelic visitation the man would fall on their face or fall as if dead on their face.

One instance we have of Christ being arrested in the garden before this it was never done in his personal ministry. The situation is as follows the Temple guards are in full armor and carrying swords they have come at night in the darkness to arrest Jesus.

As guards at night they are always in a tight formation just in case they should be attacked in the darkness where they cannot see as well. This way they can defend each other better.  When you see a group of men coming to arrest you the natural instinct for any other man would be to deny that it is you they are looking for.  You just missed him he went that way!  Unfortunately, Judas was with them and made that scenario impossible.  Jesus, of course, would have not misled anyone.

Keep in mind they had plenty of time to do it in the daylight but here they came in darkness with torches and not flashlights standing close to each other wearing their heavy armor when HE says without hesitation “I am HE you seek.” One startled by the honesty the lack of fear falls back and takes the others with him.

The devil needs something to use to keep others from hearing the word as Jesus desires men to hear it. So he makes the gifts that are not gifts mentioned in scripture instruments of division and not unity.

A Pentecostal Pastor says one night at a study with other agreeable people it is proof of the HOLY Spirit and those who walk away do not want to have that spirit in them or want that spirit in them.  That Pentecostalism is the fastest growing faith on planet earth. Well, when you consider where they are coming from it is no wonder but what good is growth without repentance salvation or knowing the word that will endure forever?

Satan likes to counterfeit but those who God is calling cannot be deceived.
